Amp and sub help please

Hey Im interested in buying a shallow sub for my 1995 ford ranger, Im looking for a good shallow sub and a amp to go with it.

I was looking at this alpine shallow sub: http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/swr-t12/

i was also looking at this kicker shallow: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...FUgDQAodrBYAVw

The alpine goes for a lot cheaper on ebay brand new and with the box and cords and w/e. I know the alpine would be better but does anyone know how much or has anyone tried these subs? the alpine is 600 rms and the kicker is like 400.

Also if i were to get the alpine sub what would be the best affordable amp for it? Thanks

Also if there are any other suggestions on subs it would be greatly appreciated!

power is pretty cheap these days, I would look at 750-1000 watts RMS into the load you plan on pushing. Small box = needs more power.

Here's another thin mint sub .. https://www.google.com/products/cata...2&ved=0CF4QrQQ
