How do I Bleed my Clutch???
I have had a 94 318is sitting for a couple of years in my garage. Now that I got it running again, I have to pump the clutch in order for it to work. The brake fluid level is correct. Could bleeding the system work or is it the slave or master cylinder?
If bleeding may work, how do I do it? Thanks |

Re: How do I Bleed my Clutch???
You have a bleeder on the slave cylinder just like you have on a caliper. Bleed it the same way you would your brakes.

Re: How do I Bleed my Clutch???
Ok, thanks. Do you think bleeding will fix the loss of pressure in the clutch?

Re: How do I Bleed my Clutch???
Yes it should unless you have a problem with the master or slave cylinders. If bleeding doesn't do the trick, you will need to rebuild or replace the cylinders. You should do BOTH as a new one with lots of pressure will blow the other. I would replace them as the aluminum tends to wear if the fluid hasn't been changed on a regular schedule.
