Unhappy Extreme disappointment with my new CLA250 just after one week.

i just got brand new CLA250 4MATIC last week.
it's my third MB. since i had good experience previously, i was confident when i bought my new CLA.
i was looking forward to enjoying this car for many years.
i drove it very gently and always spent a couple of minutes to warm up the engine. it's been 1 week and 75 miles on odometer.

and today i brought it back to the dealer.

The car's engine shut off while i was driving.
the car suddenly lost power after strange vibrations.
but luckily enough, i was able to slow down and steer the car to pull over safely. and i tried to restart the engine but it won't start.
the car died after one week with 75 miles of driving.

i couldn't believe what's happening. if it happened on a freeway, i could have been dead on the road. my car is now at the dealership. service advisor didn't say much about what kind of problem it is. he said they will diagnose the car first.
now my joy and excitement with fresh new car is all gone and i am really disappointed.

i was so surprised after i checked on the web, there're so many people experienced the same problem with their CLA250.
they all say exactly same thing. the engine goes off while they're driving on the road. some say it was very dangerous situation.
and for many of them, it happened again multiple times after the repair.
this is a serious problem and very dangerous and maybe it's not even fixable.

i try not to worry but i already lost my peace of mind with CLA250.
if it's possible, i like to get refund. it's just like a new car with only 75 miles on it.

Let me guess, you were sold on the looks.

Re: Extreme disappointment with my new CLA250 just after one week.

The day I read about the Mercedes CLA class I was suspicious. Here we are all of a sudden, with a series of cars from Mercedes-Benz that isn't heinously overpriced. It seemed practical, slightly luxurious, good looking, and even... dare I say... Affordable. I was particularly impressed by the AMG version, as it set the record for the most powerful production 4 cylinder engine. It was just too good to be true.
That being said however, any Mercedes-Benz that comes out of the AMG division with a big screaming V8 will always have a place in my heart, whether I'm ever able to afford one of my own or not.
