Re: 350whp
Internals- Sleeves,Forged pistons(arias,je),Forged rods(crower ect.), would really recommend Forged crank, but if you have to, you can just Knife edge the crank. Block Guard. That should take care of the bottom end.
Pistons=$490 Rods=$350-400 Crank=1500-1800 forged Intake manifold(venom)=$600 Camshaft(turbo_=$500, Skunk 2=$800 Retainers=$140 Springs=$280 Intake Manifold=$500 Cam Gears=$200+ Fuel Rail=$180 Fuel Pressure Reg.=$200+ Injectors=??? ECU=??? Custom turbo= Depends on what products you use-Estimate=$1500-2500+ |

Re: 350whp
Don't listen to the guy above. He listed things you would need if you decide to go 500WHP. For 350WHP you don't need to touch your head internals at all. Crankshaft on b18 motors is already forged - don't mess with it either. Here is what you need to do (mostly writing for the other people who will be reading this)
Forged low compression pistons ($400) Forged rods with ARP bolts ($300) Rod and main bearings and piston rings ($100) ARP head studs ($100) Stage 2+ clutch and pressure plate ($150) Walbro 255 fuel pump ($100) 3Bar map sensor ($100) 750cc high impendence injectors ($350) fmic ($100) 2.5" charge pipes ($200) 2.5"+downpipe and full exhaust ($250 includes welding) t3/t04e turbine ($150) BOV ($50) Oil sandwich adapter ($25) Turbo exhaust manifold ($100) Air filter ($15) Boost gauge ($30) Oil pressure gauge ($30) Fuel pressure gauge ($30) turbo oil feed line ($30) turbo oil drain line ($30) external wastegate ($250) MBC ($20) Adjustable FPR ($100) 2 steps colder spark plugs ($15) oil catch can ($30) dumptube ($150) if you route it to downpipe miscellaneous vacuum hoses, bolts, clamps, gaskets, washers and nuts ($100) Do the dyno after it or it will all go to waste... If you do the work yourself (except welding and dyno) it should cost you $3300. All this if everything goes as smooth as butter. I suggest that you purchase together downpipe, dumptube, exhaust manifold, charge pipes and intercooler. Make sure you get same turbo used with it and same size external wastegate if you cant pick it all up together. I wish I did that when I was purchasing my turbo parts piece by piece, thinking that I will save $$. Only ended up paying lots of $$ for all the rewelding. Not worth it, unless you do welding yourself. So the price estimate is just a theory. In reality it will cost more. It cost me not less than $7K to boost/build my integra with the above parts. Reason is: i got ripped off on some parts and welding jobs. Not to mention listening to the guys like the guy above...-purchasing things that i simply didn't use for my hp goal. Notice how he suggests that you get 2 intake manifolds. One for $500 another for $600. So pay attention to what you read. Im sure there are critics for every post however. |
