85 Vette alternator
My alternator went bad in my 85 Corvette and I was wondering if it would hurt to install a 150 Amp alternator in it's place. I think the stock one was around 110 amps or so. The alternators look identical on the outside.

Re: 85 Vette alternator
The alt only charges what the vehicle's electrical system demands, you should be ok. If it has an external regulator that must be matched to this alt.
