HP and Torque on '94 SSE?

I'm asking for only 2 pieces of info. If anyone can supply, MUCH thanks.

I need to know the hp and torque on the '94 SSE without supercharger. I've heard 205hp/265torque, 225hp/275torque, and 170hp/225torque.

I'm all confused. Someone please dig this info up for me and prove it if possible.

Thanks!

170hp@4800rpm and 225ft/lbs torque@3200rpm. Same output from 92-94.

Supercharged model for 94-95 had 225hp and 275ft/lbs, at slightly lower rpm peaks then the NA version.

The only performance gain a non-supercharged SSE has over an SE is a slightly more aggressive final drive ratio. I dunno how much of an advantage this is, seeing as the SSE weighs more the the SE as well.

Actually 170Hp was only the base engine setup.................mine is a '94 and infact has 205hp...........
just like for a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire SE.........it is only listed as having a 2.2L engine..........but you could get the 2.4L engine from the GT, as an option for the SE...................so it depends what options someone placed in the Bonneville you are interested in or whatever, to really know the HP

92+ Bonnevilles have had two engine choices: a 3.8L V6 and a supercharged 3.8L V6. That's it.

There are two versions of the normal 3.8L: the L27 (170hp) and L36 (205hp). They were never available at the same. The L27 went from 91-94 and the L36 from '95 to present.

If you have a '94, and it is not supercharged, then you have the L27. On the fuel rail cover it will say "3800 Tuned Port Injection". If by chance you have a '95+ Bonneville with an L36, than the FRC will say "3800 Series II".

ok.......well i'm too lazy to go out and pop the hood....but i'm pretty sure it says 3800 Series II or something to that extent........and it's a '94 and i know it has somewhere in the neighboorhood of 200 or 205 hp.....maybe it's some sort of special edition or something........because depending on where i get the vin # checked out......sometimes it states it as an SE, and other times as an SSE..............it has basically every single option in it...so who knows? I know it isn't a base trim.....and i know it has more then 170hp.....and i was told 205 or something.....plus....it's a great sleeper, and is fast, so it isn't 170hp.....

Allmachtige your Bonneville should have 170hp/225tq. Dbartoschek, perhaps your Bonneville is a late '94 model that for some reason had the Series II engine. My dad owns a '95 Bonneville SE and that one is a Series II, and it definetly feels like it.
