NEW BOV in 420a but still have turkey gobble!!!

Ok so I have tried an ebay greddy type rs then a ebay greddy type s and now what is supposed to be and appears to be an authentic HKS ssqv3 and all blow off valves seem to not work. When I shift even at 3psi boost I get the dreaded "turkey gobble" sound. I am able to look under the hood with the engine running and rev it way high and see the blow off valve open and have a good amount of air PSHHHH out. But when driving its always gobbling when I shift. I put in a super soft spring that opens at 15"vacuum and tested it with my vacuum gun to test its ability to open and it sure opens. It seems like the blow off valve is working but the air is not escaping fast enough. I did a boost leak test and the hose is good and connects right into the top of the throttle body. The hose is only about 9" long too. I'm boosting 9 psi total but 2+ psi gobbles. WHATS GOING ON HERE??
See the video link I did a little test drive so you can hear it!

gobbles

The vac line needs to go the full vac, like on the back of the manifold. I don't remember if the on the TB is @ full all the time. Try switching it to the back and see what happens there.

Doesnt sound like compressor surge to me. Some BOVs just flutter like that. You can take the vac line off and try it, you will get compressor surge but it will let you hear what that sounds like and then you will be able to tell if that noise is coming from the turbo or not.

Vac line should be fine on any source which is subject to boost and vac.

Is this vented BOV? Where is your MAF located?

I have heard BOV's sound lke that but never a HKS SSQV. If anyone has a soundbite which says otherwise though?

Plenty of Turbo'd cars running cheap aftermarket BOV's that sound just like that.

I've even heard a few factory cars sound similar.
