Rear shock absorbers!
I got a 91 sunbird 2.0 auto.
My problem is im trying to put new shock absorbers in...but i cant seem to figure out how to get the bottom bolt out. the bolt goes threw the shock an the nut is in a somewhat enclosed spot, with a notch cut out but i cant seem to get a wrench on to hold it. Hope this makes sense..appreicate an info or tricks anyone might have. thanks. |

Re: Rear shock absorbers!
If it is the same design as my 84, the "nut" is actually attached to a flange that looks like a tongue depressor. You should be able to put your socket wrench on the bolt and it will back itself off. If you cannot see the tongue depressor thing sticking out, you have a bigger problem in that it broke off and is spinning in there.
