Cooling Efficiency

Good Day,

I have an 87 B2200. Manual, ugly, reliable.

I have suddenly had an issue with the truck not reaching operating temperature. I changed the thermostat and fan clutch, both were bad, but the problem didn't improve seemingly at all. I know its not the gauge or sensor as my heat doesn't put out much of anything. We had a warm spell not long ago and with the higher temperatures outside it did reach temp sitting still but once i went down the road it was ice cold again. I am not certain where to look from here. Any ideas?
