Just got a J30, got some Q's

I just got a 93 J30t with 100,000 miles on it for 4,5k which i dont think is so bad since itll be my first car and all. But i was just wondering what exactly can you do it the J30. Ive read the things about the 300zx and how they match. Does that mean an air intake(or cold air intake) for the 300zx would fit in a J30? Also i had read that u cant fit 20's on it but thats quite the contrary because i got it with 20's on it fine and ive seen other J30s with 22's which is way too big haha. But if anyone can i just wanna know what i could do with the mofo. Thanks.

well i've seen 20's on it... it's not recommended because in some cases it can cause the ride to be uncomfortable... 22's just seem stupid on them... couldn't imagine the need for that... i'm happy with the stock 15's .. (helps with racing)

i dunno about the intake.. i'm asking mechanics around here for advice on that... cause all the "mod" shops here are ricer wannabe's that say "throw a vtec in it and stickers all around" and then go in the back and hit themselves in the head.

to be honest.. if you wanted a highly moddifiable car... you souldn't had bought a j30... there are some aftermarket air filters for it... heh heh.... yea... that's about it though from what i've researched....

Haha man ive sorta realized it cant be changed much but hey, for my first set of wheels its not bad.

you could get an ecu from a 300zx and it will give you 32hp or you can send your ecu out and have it reprogrammed for like 375$, thats about all i came up with so far, i saw a cone filter to replace the factory box on ebay for 20.$ pretty cheap though i dunno if i trust it
