No Brake Lights and Gear Shift Problem (1993)

My brake lights dont come on when the brake pedal is pushed. However, the turn signals and driving lights work. Also, my gear shift won't come out of park when the brake pedal is pushed. I'm assuming these are both from the same issue. Does anyone have any suggestion on what to check/fix?

Re: No Brake Lights and Gear Shift Problem (1993)

I did a continuity test on the brake pedal switch and it is working the way it should be. So, that's not the problem.
