Smoke Problem / Limp mode
HI All,
I’ve got a 2002 1.9 DCI with 71k on the clock. Just had the intercool changed, turbo checked, EGR valve cleaned, turbo sensor replaced. The main problem I’m having with the car is, I went to take the car out the other day and when I started it the serv light came on and when I put my foot on the accelerator the black smoke came out of the exhausts. Would the limp mode problem that I’ve had for the past 3 months have caused this problem with all the stopping re-starting the engine bout a million times every time I take the car for a long journey. Any help on the cure and possible cost to fix the problem / problems would be a massive help Last edited by confused212; 08-17-2009 at 04:07 PM. |
