The 607 Pescarolo has a V6 400 hp.

It's a FWD. But it handles very well. I drove the 406 Coupé for two days and you can't leave the road... untill a certain point ! but I never drove a car which handles as well. You have a 406, you know what pleasure it is ! it's the same plateform, and there are not many modifications btw the Coupé and the Sedan.

Alas Peugeot won't do this 607. They'll do a V6 HDI and a more powerfull V6 for the restyling (in 2005) but not more than 250hp... what a pity, french makers are never forward enough. On the little cars they are but that's all : Clio V6 with 270 hp !

Well if they launch it in 2005 then I'll get one upon my return to NZ (Hopefully it'll go into RHD production)

There's no market... The Alpine were well sold. But they didn't make enough profit.
VW does sale a Phaeton, why not Pug for example ?...

The Citroën C6 will be placed between the E and S Class (category)... why not a Peugeot 907 indeed !
(the Evasion has been replaced by the C8)

Indeed. The C3 and Picasso are the first witness of this come back. But the C5 is not the best Citroën ! It's not a bad car but the design is "bad".

You mean the way it looks? I don't think so, it's not as good looking as the 406 or Laguna, but not that bad.

It's too classic. I prefer a 406 or a 607 or a Vel Satis or a Passat or whatever but the C5 is too classic to me...
My Godfather has one (2.2 HDI Exclusive) it's still a very good car.
