Hobby Design YZR 500 Detail Up Set

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has used Hobby Design's YZR 500 detail up kit? Or is the Studio 27 PE set is better?

I'm currently building the Tech 3 YZR 500 from Tamiya, and was wondering if either is a good detail up kit to buy.

I can't find any reviews on these sets. Can someone point me to the right link.

Thoughts and comments are welcome.

Thanks,

William

Re: Hobby Design YZR 500 Detail Up Set

Hi William,
I have used neither of the sets but looking at them I would go for the Hobby Design one. As both sets offer the same type of build up for the discs, the Hobby design one have more detail parts, like chain, foot peg brackets and mask templates for the tire logos. It seems they also offer a bag with rivets, uncertain if they are for the discs or cowl enhancement.

I'm using a HD fret for a Gallardo right now and it is of good quality, S27 has a well known legacy.
