Edelbrock Intake with factory TBI?

Would it be worth changing the factory intake manifold for a Edelbrock Performer and just keeping the factory TBI unit? Honestly, I'd prefer to just replace the intake and put a carb on it, but I like the driveability of the fuel injection. Would like to know everyone's thoughts on this.

Re: Edelbrock Intake with factory TBI?

A TBI and a carburetor share many of the same flow concerns and characteristics, so, yes, a 2-injector TBI should work well on a Performer manifold. Check with Edelbrock first, though, for fit and compatibility.
