Frontier Vs. Tacoma
Hello. I stumbled accross this forum while trying to gather info on the Tacoma and Frontier. I'm in the market for a smaller sized truck and I'm torn on which of the 2 to buy. Has anybody out there owned both or have any experiences to share that might help me make a decision? I'm looking for a 4 cyl. 2WD in the $6,000 to $9,000 dollar range (with cash- no payments). I'm looking for good commute gas milage and light Home Depot hauling. Any useful info or things to consider would be much appreciated. Looks like most Frontier owners are happy with their trucks. Thanks in advance!

Re: Frontier Vs. Tacoma
Are you looking to buy something new or used, judging by the price I am assuming used?
It came down to a choice between the two for me too, but I ended up with a Frontier, mainly because the styling is better but also because in general, it seems to have the better features.

Re: Frontier Vs. Tacoma
Wow! I just got the deal of a lifetime. I just purchased a black 2001 Nissan Frontier Xtra cab 4 cyl 2.4 Liter Manual with bedliner and 63,000K miles for $6,200!! ($8,995 Bluebook) Minus the 2 front tires it is in perfect condition. I caught the lady right after she tried trading it in for a Blazer. They offered her $2,500 trade in. I could probably drive this around for 2-3 years and sell if for what I paid. I love the truck thus far. Thanks for your help...
