Question Your opinion about this idea please!!!!!! And any tips you would like to give me.?

I am 16 and im getting a car. It is a 2001 nissan maxima. I picked this car because it looks nice and has a decent sized engine for my insurance. A 3.0 v6 to be exact. anyway i want to get into the street racing scene without actually doing it and not like a wana be. I just want a nive car that when im on the freeway with my friends i ca keep up with them. i do plan on putting a light body kit on it wit rims. In addition to finding the cheapest ways to add the most horse power. Tell me what you think of my idea and give me different ideas please.

I'd say 1st learn to drive and get some years under your belt before worrying about HP. Go for the rims & body kit. The V6 max is a lot of car for a brand new driver, don't worry about keeping up w/ u'r freinds, they may be keeping up w/ you, don't make u'r parents identify you at the morgue.

Next, learn how to spell or use spell checker.

make sure when you crash your car you crash it into your friends(or a wall) instead of us normal drivers. your just getting on the road and you want to street race. you can't do that no matter how good of a driver you are or you think you are there are drivers on the road that do incredibly stupid stuff/human error.

It is an excellent car to purchase. Please please please be advised it is a very quick car. It is powerful, efficient, and fun car to own. I have been driving Maximas for over 10 years. Not the same one, but I have been in all of the different year changes. 1997-1999, 2000-2003, 2004-2008, and 2009. The best one I have ever driven was the 2007, but I currently own the 2000 Maxima SE which is the same as the one you are trying to purchase. They make so many aftermarket parts for the car, it is unbelievable.

id say get the most expensive rims and body kit you can find.......then you'll drive slower and pay more attention to pot holes and stuff like that, racing should come after you really learn how to drive i have a 2000 model maxima that has a manual shift tranny and that car is almost as fast as my lincoln continental that has a v8 engine.....to make a long story short DONT RACE UNTIL YOU CAN DRIVE....AND IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE AND HIT MY CAR......THATS YOUR ASS.
