AMG beats Bugatti by 6 months!

Mercedes-AMG just presented in Geneva the worlds first production car with a 4-digit torque rating (1000 Nm)! It's the 6.0 twin turbo V12 CL65 AMG. It is available from just 2200 rpm making it more suited to an intercity train then an automobile!

Bugatti has announced since like ages ago that the Veyron will have 1250 Nm torque but it's not going to be officially presented until September at the earliest. The Bugatti if all goes well will be the first car to have 4-digit power rating though (1001 PS).

All figures are according to the german DIN rating system. American/british ratings are based on a different system (SAE) and are slightly different.
