2011 Diagnostic Alert

We installed HUM by Verizon into our car because it's been constantly stalling for the past couple months. We put in a new camshaft position sensor because that's what it said it needed, and we even got a new oil change a couple weeks back, but we're still having trouble with the car stalling.

The code that we just got was:

Alert: """A"" Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit/Open"

DTC (diagnostic trouble code)
P0010 (powertrain)

Description
Category: - The Camshaft Position Actuator is a device mounted to the front of the engine's Camshaft. It operates by oil pressure and a signal from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to advance valve timing (it opens the intake valves sooner) for better engine performance under acceleration. In this instance the signal to the PCM has fallen below a set limit and the end result is that the intake valves are not opening properly under acceleration. The PCM recognizes this fault and turns on the Check Engine Light and sets the trouble code. The problem could be dirty engine oil that is plugging up the oil screens in the Camshaft Position Actuator, the Actuator itself could be bad, there might be a problem with the circuit's electrical wiring and the vehicle's PCM could even be faulty.
