92 lexus needs real seal
My ES-300 just went for oil change and I was told it had an oil leak and needs a rear seal, which they also said was quite expensive. I have only 95,000 on this vehicle. it;s a 1992, and according to records where i purchased it , the vehcile has been serviced regularly including timing belt at 60,000 miles. I was wondering if anyone might have an idea of the cost of rear seal job, if the cost is worth doing on a car this age, it does seem to run quite well, and if it;s a better idea to go to a Lexus dealer rather than risk a local garage doing a bad job from lack of knowledge. Any advice would sure be appreciated. Thanks
