Re: Hiroboy
Both are working fine for me.
However, there obviously some kind of problem somewhere because this subject comes up every once in a while.

Re: Hiroboy
If I'm not mistaken, you may have to reset your DNS numbers to something more stable.
I was having the same problems along with another guy and that was what our problems were. I have since forgotten how to do that, but I believe it is in your network connections. At least give that a try. Remember to retain your numbers before you remove them in case you need to re-use them. Chris |

Re: Hiroboy
There used to be a site called www.myinternetisblocked.com that solved these problems for me.. letting me reroute to the server that I couldn't get on.. www.dixieart.com...
But recently I found out that they have closed due to their account being closed/suspended.. Does anyone know if they have a new site? Or other sites like it?

Re: Hiroboy
I had the same problem a few months back now and I had to reset the DNS numbers as has been mentioned above. This got the site working fine again and it's worked great ever since. Here's a copy of the original post showing what I did to reset the DNS numbers.Give it a try and let me know how you get on.Remember to write down your original DNS numbers first, then if this doesn't work you can simply type them back in.
Original post from a few months ago. Well thanks to the help of a friend I have managed to get back onto the website with no problems and it works normally again. Also the other site I couldn't access (a camera battery site) also works again with no problems.I will try to explain how I got it to work again and it really was simple in the end. Here goes.I am using Windows XP Home. 1:Left click Start Menu,Go to settings,Control panel. 2.Go to Network and Internet Connections.Left Click the network connections icon. This brings up a page which shows your internet connection (an Icon) Double click the icon for your internet connection. This brings up another page with 2 tabs, general and details. 3.On the General tab click Properties.Click the Networking tab.Make sure the box that says Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) is checked (has a tick in it) On the same page click properties. On the next page change the numbers in the bottom 2 boxes to the following (record the numbers that are already there in case this doesn't work and you can put your original ones back in.) New numbers prefered DNS server 208.67.222.222 Alternate DNS server 208.67.220.220 Click Ok,Restart your computer connect to the internet and try the hiroboy site. That's it.It worked for me.Give it a try.If it doesn't work you haven't lost anything.Just put the old numbers back in that you wrote down. All my websites work fine again now so it did the trick.I can get the SPC forum site as well now.It apparently works by using a different more reliable DNS server to look up the sites.Whatever that is.I hope this helps some of you.
