1998 ACHIEVA Heater Core
What do I need to do to remove the heater core? Is the heater core right behind the shifter? (this is a 98,3.1 v6 auto)

Re: 1998 ACHIEVA Heater Core
Welcome to AF!
Sorry for the delayed reply. Im pretty sure your console if it goes up close to the fire wall will have to be removed. Then you'll see the black box in the middle on the firewall with a bunch of screws. Cant remember how many and some are tricky to get to. Also you might want to drain part of your cooling system, so you dont pour a bunch of coolant on your floor boards. This is a real pain in the neck, literaly. Just not a lot of room to work. Hope that helps and Happy New Years!
