Re: Monogram Bugatti EB100--any good?
That kit does have an engine and it has four of the tiniest turbos i've ever seen in a kit and has very nice looking and nice and big wheels. This kit is a rebox of an airfix kit (or it might've been the other way around) and I don't think it's the best kit of the car. The body looks good but detail isn't that sharp and the surface isn't as flat as it should be which isn very notice-able on a design like that. The wheel fitment is crap. The rear engine cover isn't designed to be opening (it just sits on after completion).
There is another Revell kit of the EB110 that is much better but that's harder to find than this one. If you really want one, I might be able to get one for you for about £15 and then the last time I posted something to the US, it cost me about £7-8. If I were looking for another one, I'd go for the Revell one. Of course, the Monogram/Airfix/Heller kit can be built up to a very nice looking car (it seems more voluptuous compared to the RoG kit) but it's not as well made a kit as the RoG one.
