Heater core replacement 98 bravada
I just replaced the heater core in my 98 bravada and tried using Haynes.manual needless to say it was completely wrong..look at jonathondw's post and he said same thing..he has the correct way..thanx Jonathan...only difference on mine is if u just disconnect electric connections on passenger side you can swing dash out of way enough to get heater box out without removing it completely..the screw in ac plenum was not as easy for my fat hands to get in so used longer extension and swivel attachment on rachet to remove..should have drilled hole in plenum about 4 inches down(would have been straight shot to screw)like another poor soul who had to replace core did...job took about 8 hours but got heat now without steaming up windshield..luv this site...it has helped me with a lot of repairs

Re: Heater core replacement 98 bravada
One more thing..if you remove climate control computer and bracket at base of heater box it makes putting heater box installation a lot easier
