Sunroof inside sliding door, other issues
I noticed that the inside sliding panel on my sunroof was binding up in something when I slid it open or closed with the Sun roof closed. It finally bound up and I had to force it to get it closed and it rolled a piece if what looks like insulation with sticky black, tarlike adhesive on it out between the headliner and the sliding panel. I slid it back and the stuff came off and is loose up in there now.
Later when I went to open the lift gate, it will now not open. Are the power wires for the lift gate running back thru that area somewhere? How do you take that panel out? I'm pretty sure the "stuff" was insulation from the back of the panel. How do you drop the headliner? Thanks for any help you can give me.
