nascar 2006 (total team control)

I bought this and am dissapointed again, I'll probably get used to it as I did 2005(which I had lots of fun on), but where the hell are my cautions!? I can't believe they left them out again, theyre on offline, so why can't they be online as atleast an option .

Re: nascar 2006 (total team control)

Because people can cheat with cautions as they did on '04. After having a few EA NASCAR games mainly '04 & '05, they are too arcady for me. What fun is it when your car is way faster than the AI? It gets pretty boring. Sure there is online racing but very few people are actually good they just wreck. EA's PC was a let down also. EA has NASCAR rights til 2010 which really sux. If you want a good NASCAR PS2 game get Dirt 2 Daytona or for the ultimate NASCAR game get NASCAR 2003 for PC. That's the only NASCAR game I use, it's the game all the real drivers train on, and it's actually HARD. There is loads of information on Speed TV's forum about updates and what not, great leagues with serious racers.

It took me 5 mins to get a fast setup for Talladega on 2005 while it took weeks to get a good setup for 2003 PC. Speaking of that game it's time for some Bristol.

Other than the team control thing is there much difference between 06 and 05? I think EA has done okay on the console games. I haven't played their PC game though. My good computer broke and I don't have the money to fix it right now, but I do have NASCAR Racing 2003 Season. Awesome game.
