Proud new owner of a fleet of Yugos
Well,I have been looking for a cheap 4 cylinder Vehicle with a car for a few months and finally found one.Came across a ad in the local paper that only said Yugo car,$75.When I went to look at it and fire it up the guy not only had 1 Yugos but 5 of them.He made me a deal. All 5 for $300.3 are GV models,1 is a GVL,and the last is a GVX.He said 4 ran when he parked them(I fired the GV that was the original For sale car). The GVL and GVX both have aluminum wheels and the GVX has the full body kit.3 have titles(but the one I fired up is missing in my pile of papers, gotta call the guy back about it.There is a Lost title application for it signed by the original owner....its a 2 owner car still with the original window sticker!!!).

Re: Proud new owner of a fleet of Yugos
I have personally owned 12 of 'em.
the gvx is the keeper; it will have the 1.3 and a 5 speed. as opposed to the 1.1/4speed |

Re: Proud new owner of a fleet of Yugos
I had yugo and going to a repair shop was costing me $5 to $10 for the parts...
One of the cars with the cheapest parts in the world. And I don't agree with this: http://www.cars-10.com/2010/05/cars-...ng-unreliable/ |

I know a place in Arizona where they are selling one for 950 US dollars. They are in decent shape.
