On Fire!
|
What time is it kids? It's Dyno time!
Sunday I finally got the Z onto a Dyno.
With a mysterious new problem... missfiring while under max boost, running rich and with my slipping clutch. Which by the way just went out today... don't work to well now. 1st run: 250rwhp 254rwtq 2nd run: 252rwhp 256rwtq Link to my local Z forum with dyno results of all the cars My car on the dyno... Results for you lazy people... Here are the results: Name Car HP Jonathan S. Supra 662 W. Wang Supra 652 Marc Regier Skyline 606 Duane Kressin Supra 532 Rob McNaughton 300zx 454 Chip Schwartz Supra 436 Bob Tran Supra 411 Brad Diermann Supra 410 Harut Agaronyan Supra 386 Danny Chhan Supra 382 Luis Dimagiba Supra 366 Alex Paredes 300zx 355 Jeff Ling NSX 353 Joe Alfaro Supra 333 Aaron Khan Mk3 Supra 317 Daniel Reynosa 300zx 306 Jeremy Musso Camaro Z28 306 Richard Pearl Supra 286 Daniel Wang CLK55 285 Joshua Yaller Mustang 282 Anthony Delgaudio Mustang Cobra 280 Juan Cabrera 300zx 264 Matthew Briggs 240z 252 Hung Ngo S14 240sx 239 Jose Valle Mk3 Supra 222 Garrett Nakamura M3 218 Allan Morrice 325i 216 Robert Pacheco Chevy Truck 193 Tomas Nevarez 325i 190 Mike Mehnert Protégé 161 John Ortiz 318i 143 You'll have to take my for it for the time being, untill I can get a way to upload a scan of the dyno print out. New ACT clutch, Fidanza 9.5lb flywheel are on their way. Should be here tomorrow. All orders were back ordered due to SEMA... so it took a while for shit to get anywhere. Also, next item to be bought is a SAFC-2 so i can get tuned properly so I'm not uber rich. And upgrading to my Q45 90mm MAF sensor for extra power. Dude at the dyno place says that with some proper tuning I should gain another 20whp. So with a larger MAF and tuning Maybe... MAYBE 30whp to be gained. We'll see. 252 rear wheel horsepower, factor in 18% drivetrain loss... thats 297bhp. Damn. Photos and Videos of the cars on the dynos

More boost! More! mwahahaha. Can't wait till you sort out all those problems. How much does the Z weigh? Did you gut it at all or is it stock?

Dang man, sweet numbers!
too bad I didnt really get to see how hard you pull Next time though, next time! I cant wait for next month now. That Z meet was so fun! I think a lot of it was because of the Legacy Master... or as you call it.. the Doom Wagon...

hhaha matt so you do got a freak SR after all. i sorta had a feeling that you had one of those. anyways you should try to be the DEVIL Z from Wangan Midnight instead of a Panda Z from Initial D.
