"Check Engine" Light ON
Can anyone tell me how to reset the "Check Engine" light? or is there something I need to check or replace to make it turn off?

You can get the service reset tool from bmpd.com or bavauto.com.. it runs roughly 130 bucks but you can yank any diag. code from the computer, and reset oil, service, and check engine lights. I have one, and it's great, I change my own oil and check diag codes if they come up. Basically, if the condition that's causing your car to turn on the light is fixed, depending on the severity of the problem the light can just turn off by itself after a few minutes of driving. This is true for the brake pad sensor light, and a few other minor errors that can occur. If the light stays on, it's probably something legitemately wrong.
