i apologize not sarcasm intended.....i was just impressed by the detail of that info your were passing on...here is the deal on the Toyota dealership....if they are not certified as a lex dealership and or the same owner dose not have a lex dealership, they probably did not have the access to the lex fsm....although the fix sounded simple, with out the TSB's or the FSM's it would take them a long time to figure it out....

Yes I have an

Its hard, dirty, dangerous, and many other things…but I would not trade it for anything else….
Right now im a full time student at SIUC but im graduating in August….

Automotive is a very lucrative business, you just have to know where to look….i heard of Toyota techs making 100k a year…..and all the had was an high school diploma….i think that’s not too bad don’t you???

In this business you have to be good and you really have to love what you do…..if not you will not make it..

Ps
Have plans to start my own shop when I graduate….

and you what do you do???

Re: Key stuck and won't turn, engine lock out message on panel can you help?

heres how......if your making $25/hr book time...

a job comes in you sell a service to a costumer and it will take you according to the book 8hrs.

but you been doing the same service for several years know and you know all of the shortcuts that you can take, and instead of 8hrs it takes you 4 but you will still get payed for the full 8......so two services in an 8hr work day = 16hrs which you will get payed for, for that day....cool

I interned under on tech that put out 20hrs of work every 8hr work day for five days a week….. * $25 per hour and after 80 hrs a week the scale goes up to $26 and after 100hr a week it goes up to $28....28*125/hrs.= $3500 a week * 4 = 14000 a month ;p.....*12months a year= $168,000
Know subtract the days that he’s on vacation, days that he dose not make 20hrs and you ll end up close to 100k a year.. if your good!!
