The OD 4 speed trans has the linkage bolted to the side of the trans case (large black V-shape with the handle coming out of the top). It is the same linkage from 1972-1993. You need an offset trans hump cover, and you need to have a manual transmission cab, or modify the floorpan in yours. The linkage is in any shop/chiltons/haynes manual. Most of the OD 4speeds were on slant six trucks, but the only change for a V8 swap-out is the bellhousing(well flywheel, starter, clutch, pressure plate bellhousing), which can be found in any Small block Mopar from 72 on. All the linkages will match up, and the clutch shaft too.
Depending on what exactly it is that you need, I may have most of what you need (trans, offset hump boot, clutch shaft, shifter, etc.) on an '82 D150 I'm going to scap. Hope this is helpful, Slantsixness
