650? Mines a 1000 as well

If i had the money for a harley, i'd definly be a fatboy. I've loved them ever since i was a kid and watched T2 for the first time (our of hundreds of times thereafter)

I want to walk into a biker bar sometime and walk up to the biggest, hairiest, nastiest lookin biker and be all "Ah need your clother, yo buuts, and yo motorcycle"

Single can?

I think you need to talk to your optometrist, man. There is quite clearly a can on the RIGHT side of the bike in the first pic, and one on the LEFT side of the bike in the second.

Re: Lets see 'em...

I've only seen one or two others around. The first time i got busted (second day owning the SV) was when another SV1k rider pulled up to me, and we raced past the state police barracks going 100+ in a 45. Not such a wise move.

Unless you have a Titanium-composite skeleton, I'd strongly suggest against doing that!!

Civic, nice scoot!

Do you find the seating to be cramped since they lowered the seat height?

Thanks guys...

Yeah... I LOVE this bike... it's def. quick when it needs to be but confortable as well for those longer trips...

I don't really find it cramped but I am only 5'8"... Probably taller guys/gals will find it a bit cramped just the same as the CBR600RR... They are the two 'shortest' bikes on the market...

My plans are to 'slowly' make it a street/track bike... piece by piece though...

Re: Lets see 'em...

Its a 600 right?

the 750 and the 600 look so much alike now, apart from the color scheme.

you've gotta go a Yoshi, 1 down on the front sprocket and up two on the rear. that'll make it "responsive".

Yep Yep... it's a 600cc...

I was going to do the full Yoshi R55... w/a PCIII tuned on the dyno...

Won't eh -1f/2+r hinder my top end MPH... I def. know the lowend will ROCK... but I didn't want to kill too too much of my top end speed...

Re: Lets see 'em...

It will drop your "top speed" by about 11%.

BUT when will you ever get there?

chances are you can get to redline in 5th, change to 6th but the gearing will not allow you to get to redline in 6th given the amount of resistance versus torque.

eg.
with my 954 in standard gearing, i would be doing 235-240KPH down the straight of Eastern Creek raceway in 5th, and change to 6th only to accelerate slightly before the end of the straight. with 1 down and 2 up, i get 265+ (depending on wind and with or without camera) in 6th almost redline. the punch outta corners is so much better and still accelerating past stock 1000's on the straight. sure i need to work the gears more and risk more highsides and wheelies when close to the limit, but i'll never hit the full top speed with standard ratio's.

I'm not sure with the new suzuki ECU's (they are much higher MB processors now) but with most FI bikes, you'll need a PCIII if you plan on an exhaust and air filter. just the exhaust does little in the HP stakes but change the exhaust note. Air filter's do nothing in HP (maybe 1-2hp max) but together with an exhaust, it can run the motor on the wrong mixtures. Whack in a PCIII and up goes the HP and all the mixtures are ok too.

I'd do the exhaust first, then gears and then see about the rest.

if you change the gears, you'll need a speedohealer too.
