2000 Malibu near-continual chime question
Folks, the chime noise is going off in my car every two minutes. I have checked everything and cannot see anything obvious. Does anyone know how I can disable this for a couple of days? Is there a fuse specifically for the chime?
Any help appreciated. Thanks, Sam. |

Blah blah blah

There are two reasons for this.
Does the chime sound when the key is removed from the ignition? This was the most common complaint and prompted gm to send out a bulletin and require dealers to recode the lock cylinder. There was also a recall about the seat belt saftey chime always on. Just let me know and maybe I can help you more |
