I learned to ride on the Saturday after my 18th birthday when I bought my brothers Honda CX500. On Sunday he rode with me on the expressway, and the rest was trial and error. The MFS course was very expensive at the time, so I never took it. That was 22 years ago.

<---------26, male, I love long walks on the beach and playing tennis, just being with that someone. ( o shit wrong fourm) my bad........j/k

I have only been riding for about 9 mounths. I have been into cars mainly. I am now going to school so i can fix my bike if something happens. There is so much stuff to know. I don't like people working on my stuff.

I started with a new 1981 Honda XL-250 when I was 20 years old in 1981. Bike cost $1300 then and I kept it for 2 years and rode it over 10,000 miles. I'm 44 now and been thinking about the midlife crisis motorcycle . Best advise I can give a younger person is not to get too crazy and go too fast. You only live (and die) once and it's just not worth taking unnecessary chances. Always wear your protective equip. and BE CAREFUL!

Re: How old were you?

GOOD ADVISE,

I live in FL and it sucks here. You kinda cant injoy rideing. You are to damn busy looking around every where. Some old ass lady that can't see over the dash or some really young new driver that should not be on the road yet pulls out and WAM!!!

Re: How old were you?

I think I beat just about everyone... My dad put me on a PW50 when I was 4. That was 19 years ago. I grew up racing dirt bikes and then when my dad got back into street riding 6 years ago. I got my first street bike at 16... Now I'm on #6

I started riding when I was about 6yrs old, my first bike was a Yamaha Tri-Zinger Three wheeler.. I've had a handfull of Quads and Motocross bikes throughout the years, I just picked up my first street bike last week (R6).. I cant wait for this snow to melt ..
