Re: Whats better Alpine or Pioneer??
the difference between the two is really mostly having to deal with audio (hu, amps, subs/speakers)
and is the dvd player a in dash one and did you want one with a screen.becuase the way you have your post worded it sounds like you want each one sepreate (sp) and also will it be attached to a system if it is a in dash one |

Re: Whats better Alpine or Pioneer??
I have had good experience with Pioneer car audio products. Owned 3 different head units, all still work and the oldest is 4 years now. Also owned a few sets of their speakers, did the job pretty well. I would think their DVD units would be quality also.

Re: Whats better Alpine or Pioneer??
...
I like pioneer cuz they got the dvd/nav all in one units by way of the avic n1, 2 and 3 plus the DD size versions. also, they got this cool vehicles dynamics processor for some of the older model dvd monitors http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...089326,00.html hopefully i'll get this and probably the 6600 model dvd monitor http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...401213,00.html in the next few months for my blazer.

Re: Whats better Alpine or Pioneer??
I like alpine over pioneer personally and i havent really found a need to spend an extra 200-300 for a nav system a road atlas come sin handy and there only 24 bucks.

An example of this is Mitsubishi reliability, just because they are Japanese doesn't mean that they are as reliable as a Honda or Toyota. Cardomain |
