Jim Clark
On a more serious note - witth the debating and stuff - I forgot to mention that yesterday it was 35 years ago that the late and great Jim Clark died in Hockenheim during a F2 race.
He drove 72 GP's of which he won 25. He was Champion in '63 and '68. I think we can say he was the best driver of his generation! Guido |

Definitely. He's a legend, and deservedly so. The death was tragic.

Champion '63 and '65 Guido. '68 was Hill's second.
Had he lived Jimmy probably would have taken it though, along with Rindt's '70 in the Lotus 72. And a few others besides. Then again Lotii in those days weren't the safest. A top candidate for greatest driver ever! |
