Porsche 959 Paris Dakar 86
Hello!
I thought for a long time of construction of this legendary Porsche. I am very surprised that there is no correct model of this car. The awful set from Gunse-it did not consider seriously. Now my friend has learnt to receive qualitative details from resin,I have decided to make not simply model for myself.I will do transkit for a set Tamiya. For the decision of a question with decals the ready body is necessary to me.I have begun body alteration. I have three sets:Tamiya, Academi,Gunse. Tamiya there will be a basis, others two - donors. I have begun changes with a back part of a body.On a prototype other engine hood and the narrow back fender with the air scoop. The road clearance in scale 1:24 will be 12мм For reception of high quality after moulding, it is necessary to level and internal surfaces of a body. Changes in a forward part of a body too the big. I will be very glad to your remarks and offers on transkit manufacturing. Could not find a photo of the bottom part of the car.If who that has - please send to me. |

Looks like great work so far. The Rothmans livery always looks good on a Porsche

Re: Porsche 959 Paris Dakar 86
I'm looking forward to this wip, because i'm planning to do the same with my tamiya 959. Are there decals available for this car?

Too eyckles:
Decals for 959 Dakar ?! Very interestingly! It is possible to receive the information where they can be seen or bought? And small progress: Cut out holes in a forward part.I would paste thin plastic on hole edge that there was no big thickness. Headlights: Back lateral glasses were not transparent.Have decided to do them together with a body. |
