Used formula car?

I was looking around on the web for used race cars can't find the link trying to. They had a bunch of of open wheel cars so i fig i would look. Most cars where like 50k+ CART,Indy,F1 cars then i saw like 5-6 cars that where like 10k they were called Formula Russia cars? Never herd of this series they looked like formula 3 cars of UK. They were full running cars with extra tranny and tons and tons of parts. I guess my real question is has nebody ever herd of this series? What are they like. I've herd of F1,F3,F3000,Formula nissian. I'm hoping this would the correct place since its F1 forum.

Re: Used formula car?

Something from the former USSR maybe? There are dozens of different formulas around the world. Here in Australia we have of have or have had Formula Ford, Formula Future, Formula Tasman, Formula Holden, Formula Pacific, Formula 5000, just to name a few besides the regular international series.

Re: Used formula car?

It's not "formula Russia", it's a Russian championship called Formula 1600 (Reynard Chassis with Lada engines). Probably not the fastest things, but probably some of the cheapest, and I'm sure they're fun.

Re: Used formula car?

And getting spares just as bad. Find something locally that is catered for by the local market.
