'86 tpi 305 into '69 w/ 250-6 & powerglide?

hey all you nova-maniacs, i'm tossing about putting an 86 305 w/ tpi into my '69. i've already heard all the 305 negatives, but i have one sitting in my garage that cost me zero to date. contemplating mild street rebuild. am interested in a continued daily driver. so, my first question is: will it drop right in? are the motor mounts common between the straight six and the v8. if not, would 350 mounts work? will the 305 bolt up to the powerglide? i'll probably put a better tranny in later. any advice would be appreciated...
