YES,
They are a mess to install. Make sure that the bars are connected and all of the snaps are in place. Loosely fit in on the car and make sure that the edges match. I think that the 89 or 90 models were a little bit different than the 1993 models which were more popular. Let me know how it goes. |

I agree,
If you don't know what you are doing, you may be going in circles. By the way, I hope you didn't buy the cover from the guy in Canada off ebay! That guy is an idiot. He didn't even know how to install it....even further, he has never owned a Saleen. Go Figure! Sorry for the assumptions, but these covers are rare, so it's not hard to to know who has them. Good luck with those snaps! |

Re: 90-93 spyder tonneau installation?
does anyone know the exact procedure? I have alot of parts. 3 aluminum bars (that dont look like they connect togeather any way) some wing nuts, some screws, and two little aluminum plates with a black plastic headed hand screw. i need to install this from scratch like Saleen did from the factory. once i install all the hardware on the car, installing the cover should be easy. i need to know how the three bars go togeather exactaly, and how and where the other hardware is installed (black screw pieces)?????????
thx bryan |
