BMW 850i SGS Monte Carlo

Does anybody know, what color BMW 850i SGS Monte Carlo were painted?

I found information only about that there were made only 20 cars and one photo.

Also, is there any similar alternative for wheels - revell one are awful, as usual.

Thanks a lot.

Since they were one-offs, a buyer could have it painted in any BMW or other color they wanted.

I would agree, excepting that JPS or John Player Special color was black with the gold striping and lettering. Just as Alpina versions tradionally would have the dark blue, I have photos of other colors.

I am building mine without the JPS livery and will be selecting a different color. I also took the double kidney nosepiece off an 850i since the Revell kit has a single "kidney" nosepiece. Here is what I am thinking of doing:

Have fun with it if you want and make it an aftermarket cabrio. If you are aiming for a JPS version, then follow the kit color choices.
