My turn...
Firstly the most recent purchase:
1991 Mazda Miata w/ 140000mi with some improvements
195/65/14 Falken Azenis Sport
K&N Air intake
Koni Adjustable Sport shocks
Magnaflow Cat
3ARacing Catback exhaust
114+ bhp (factory rating, has yet to be dynoed)

It was purchased after my mother saw me doing autocross with my Toyota Echo. The Miata is setup to run in the E-stock class, against the 2nd gen NA MR2's

Now here is my daily driver, 2003 Toyota Echo w/ 12000mi
108bhp (factory rating)

Here is mine. Virginia, a '96 Civic. Check my sig for the modifications, the only thing you can see are the wheels... 11lbs each and cheap! Sorry the pic is cropped funny, it was a pic I used to show a buddy the rims, so I didn't try to make it artistic...

Here it is with me at the wheel, racing about a year ago. Sorry for the crap quality of the pic, but it's old from an old camera.

So she's a DX... autocrossing levels the field pretty well. I can't keep with Miatas or Corvettes, but I keep pace with Integras and Si's pretty easily.

Edit: If you look waaayyy in the background of the first pic you can see the green Toyota that inspired my Hilux.

POS green on green 97 Mercury Sable LS, 118000 miles, owned since 12 miles. Quick 3.0L 200HP DOHC 24V Duratec engine, the only good part. Ran great until warranty ran out. Now replace at least one EXPENSIVE component a month ($420 for an alternator!). Hoping to upgrade to a Pontiac Fiero; cheap, cheap parts, easy to work on, and fun to drive!

Re: What kind of car do you drive in real life?

pettercardoso, love your style, drive a 1.4 myself.
Used to be a '96 Supra RZ, REAL jdm, bought it in Tokyo. Hence the screen name.
Had to sell that when I moved to Norge and got 2 kids and a VERY big mortgage!
Was on the verge of bringing another car over from Japan, R33 this time, but decided on a business venture instead. SO 1.4 Corsa it is for at least 6 or 12 months while I get the 'biz' up and running and the missus looks for a bloody Audi estate. Get her the LHD estate, and the RHD (she wont drive that side) Skyline's all mine!!!

Re: What kind of car do you drive in real life?

These aren't the fanciest cars in the world...but they're mine. The first one is my '77 GMC Jimmy, it's a work in progress and it only has 62000 original miles. I couldn't let my friend use it for parts.

The second is my old daily driver-'85 Caprice Classic which is pretty clean considering I live in the rust belt.

The third is my '79 Camaro. It has a 400 big block from a pontiac, 12 bolt rear, and full length headers. Come spring, she'll be black and laying strips on the pavement.

And the fourth is my daily driver '91 Caprice 9C1. It doesn't look like much, but line up next to it and you'll be surprised!(in the sig)

2003 350Z Track model (stock, except for smoked JDM sidemarkers, but does that count as a mod?)

1993 240SX base 5-spd (stock)
I got the 240 to drive while I'm away at college. First mod will be some wheels (black/polished SSRS), then LSD, then brake upgrade probably, and I'm in the process of polishing a valve cover.

I'm currently driving a '98 Subaru Legacy L. I'm trying to figure out my course though, as I've been offered a 68 Camaro that I can finish the restoration on for extremely cheap. So, in late spring, I'm gonna make the choice to either sell the Scoob to get the Camaro, or I'm going to put a WRX motor in the Scoob...Of course, I'd love to do both, but it won't happen. Pics in the link in my signature.
