Fuel return kit!??

Can some one tell me what a fuel return kit is>? my friend has one in his srt-4 and i wanna know what it does. please dont think of me as stupid for asking but i dont know every thing i know quite a bit of stuff for my age, but thanks

ive never heard of one but couldnt you just ask your friend what it is?

that would be basically a fuel pressure regulator, regulating the fuel pressure before it hits the fuel rails=>injectors=>combustion chamber, etc.

usually only turbocharged/forced-induced engines need fuel return kits, they are rarely issued as OEM/stock in street cars.

Ya i wouldnt use it in a stock car. only after i turbo it but does it increase HP in any way im sure it does but would it be worth getting one affter i turbo my car?

i wouldnt say it increases horsepower, it will probably just prevent too much pressure from developing in the fuel lines. In other words, its going to keep your fuel system more stable than a stock setup. This is essential when you start turning up your boost level, to prevent engine ping and knocking. incorrect detonation in your combustion chambers will kill your engine very quickly.

i would get a FPR after you turbo your avenger. dont forget to change those injectors before you attach the thing, it'll make life easier.
