Re: 95 quad 4 spark plug removal?

quad4 is a 4 cylinder.. not a v6. dont be surprised if you only find 4 plugs under the IDI covor. at any rate, if they dont come out on the socket, (best to use spark plug socket with rubber insert to hold the plug) then just pull them out with pliers. you dont have to mega grip on them and crack the plugs, just be gentle, take your time, and youll be fine.

the plugs? get your ratchet down in there with a spark plug socket and extension, unscrew em, then they should come right out.

Re: 95 quad 4 spark plug removal?

Get a spark plug socket. If you use a 5/8 deep socket you run the risk of breaking the plug, plus its a real b*tch to get the plug out of the hole after you loosen it.

Re: 95 quad 4 spark plug removal?

true that. it can be done without, but i recommend spending the 3 or 4 bux on the right socket.
