2001-2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer Passenger Side Mirror Replacement

Tools:
10mm ratchet
6in extension
Plastic Trim tools
Flat Head Screwdriver
Magnetic Reach Tool

Problem:
Damaged Mirror

Repair:
Take your flat head screwdriver and pop the outer cover off around the door handle. This is a fragile piece of plastic. Taking your plastic trim tool pop up the switch panel and unplug the three plugs. That then exposes a 10mm bolt in the right hand side of the opening you just created. Remove that. In the door handle you will see a hole and deep in that hole is another 10mm bolt. Use your socket and extension to remove that bolt. Taking your magnetic reach tool pull that bolt out. Carefully pry away at the door panel until it comes off. That then exposes this foam cover on the other side of the mirror. Pull that off and you will see three 10mm nuts. Remove those and the mirror comes off. Be sure to save the foam that is on the mirror as this prevents wind noise.
