Re: turn signal wont stop ticking even after light goes off!
I am having this same issue with my 1997 Oldsmobile achiva. My blinkers were not working righ so i replaced the box under the dash. Since then any time i have the car on the box ticks like the blinkers are on. I just replaced the blinker switch today as people here and at the shop said that was the problem but it is still doing it. Idas anyone?

Re: turn signal wont stop ticking even after light goes off!
I have had several of these on Blazers, Astros, and similar chassis, and it is usually the switch. Most frequently, it seems to be related to the hazard flasher portion of the switch. If you exercise the hazard flasher switch several cycles, does the problem change? If you slightly depress or slightly release the hazard flasher switch to position it differently, does it affect the symptoms?
If the turn/hazard flasher module has been replaced and the new switch is intact and was installed correctly you've just about covered it aside from the connectors and wiring. If it helps, this is the diagram for your system:

Re: turn signal wont stop ticking even after light goes off!
My 03 blazer just started doing this yesterday going to lose my mind. Did not realize this was such a common problem. It can only be altered if i mess with my hazzards and i noticed if i touch my brakes it also makes it go away so im worried it might be grounding issue.

Turn the signal on, left and then right...if still ticking, turn on your hazards....then turn off....if clicking stops, it's the hazard circuit....
