Angry 00 Contour Airbag light stays on

Just bought a 2000 Contour, the fuse for the electric mirrors (7.5amp) was blown so I replaced it and now the airbag light is on. I wasn't on prior to changing the fuse but did come on the second I replaced it.It has never blinked, just came on and stays on? I'd appreciate any help.

if you pull the fuse, does the airbag light go back off?

Pulling the fuse was the first thing I tried, about 30 seconds after I put it in and noticed the airbag light was on, but it had no affect. The airbag light and replacing the mirror fuse could be totally unrelated but they sure happened at the same time.
