Re: stereo question
The wiring harness or the hole in the dash? if its the dash then if its a single din this will fit if its a double you will need a spacer there about $15 if its the wiring harness then you will need to cut the old one off and wire in the one that comes with the new deck.

Re: stereo question
im not sure what any of that is.. but this is what i want to do
i currently have a Alpine CDE- 7828 cd receiver it looks just like that.. (the part that you can pop off and take with you so it dosnt get stolen.) i want to replace it with a something like this Notice that it has a aux port for a ipod or mp3 player that's all i want but my question is.. does the part that the cd receiver hooks up too have to be switched out with a compatible one because one would think that the aux cable plugs into the receiver and goes through it into the stereo behind the receiver. thanks

Re: stereo question
if that is your current car, you can should be able to just pop the new one in. You will of course have to replace the mounting cage as well, and use a different harness

Re: stereo question
If you wanting to just change the part you take with you then, no you cant just change that you have to change the whole cd player.

Re: stereo question
All you need to look for is a cd player that says single din, as for the one you sent a link to yes it is a single din aka slot. And yes it is the whole cd player and faceplate.
