Help please got about 250$ to spend

I have a 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab. Im looking to buy a 12 inch sub for it. I currently have 2 12's in the back under my seats with a custom box but the subs are old and the voice coils are pretty much done. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I was looking at Alpine Type R's my friend has a 15 and it sounds amazing so im looking towards that direction so if anyone know of any qaulity subs please tell me. My budget is around 250 i can maybe manage 300$ not quite sure though. Thank you
