Help with Solara muffler modofication

Looking for suggestions...My '04 Solara SE Sport V6 is whisper quiet. I would like to get a more European sound from it ...I am in my 50's and not looking for the big loud can with popping sounds more of a BMW M3 sound or similar. Any suggestions out there ?

Re: Help with Solara muffler modofication

I would try finding a similar size muffler from a high-performance Camaro or Mustang, Corvette, Challenger Hemi, etc. Anything really European would be a bit more expensive. Go to a muffler shop and see what they have.

If you end up having to get a Toyota muffler, a Turbo Supra muffler would be the first thing I'd try to fit.

If you have a stainless steel exhaust system (which you probably do), make sure you get a stainless steel muffler. If you don't, you stand to get some serious corrosion issues from galvanic corrosion.
